The new state of the art Motor Industry Training Association WA (MITA) project officially opened on Wednesday the 6th of April 2011. Located at 10 Injune Way Joondalup WA, the new facility represents a leap into the future for the industry owned and managed automotive association and is considered a valuable asset to the Western Australian automotive industry.
The Central Administration and Training Building includes all staff accommodation as well as Training Rooms, meeting and conference rooms, Lecture Theatre, Museum and cafeteria. Arranged in a sweeping arc surrounding the central building are 9 x 600m2 workshops, each specialising in various aspects of motor vehicle service and repair. These included dedicated paint and panel as well as truck workshops.
